“Ashwin Maharaj enjoyed his role as Detective Dave Bhatia in the recently completed film Afreen. Ashwin is also known for his role as Detective Hundley in the short film Temptations as well as his role as Numbers, the accountant for the mob, in the film Guido Superstar. Ashwin studied acting at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is an accomplished musician and plays the drums and guitar. Ashwin wishes to thank his wife, Saveena, for loving and supporting him and allowing him to chase his dream. The couple shares their adoration of their young daughter Anaya.”
