Afreen Experience:

AFREEN had a very kind cast and friendly atmosphere, which made it possible for me to feel comfortable debuting in this film. I hold the people I worked with close to my heart and cherish the memories of my start in acting with such a hard working crew.

Afreen Experience:

My experience with AFREEN was great. It took a solid team to put it together. I enjoyed the whole process.

3 television pilots, played a murderer on a TV show called “See No Evil,” acted, directed, and written for two satellite TV shows,and appeared in a number of commercials and music videos. He strongly holds the belief that you have total control over your own life and the only limits you’ll ever have are the ones you put on yourself. He believes the greatest obstacle in your life will always be yourself, so in order to do what you need to do, sometimes you just have to get out of your own way.

Afreen Experience:

Working on this film was by far the most intense work I’ve ever had to do. I’ll never forget the experience of working on this film because in a lot of ways it changed who I am as a person and the way I look at the world permanently. I will just leave it with this: this movie pushed me beyond my limits as an actor and put me into a state several times in the film where I became possessed by forces greater than I could ever imagine. I did not do this character alone…

  His interests include spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, learning self-defense (Krav Maga), watching movies, playing PS4 games, reading and of course looking to pursue more acting roles and projects.

Afreen Experience:

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and learned a lot from working on the AFREEN project.  I got a little taste of the reality of the movie business which can be chaotic and demanding but it is worth the effort when the script, director, cast and crew are helpful, patient and professional.  I particularly enjoyed acting as RAMZI.  Even though he wasn’t the main character, he was an integral part of the movie and really challenged me to go against my normal friendly persona.  It was definitely a humbling experience as there were actors and directors who although had more experience than I did shared the same passion and dedication to the craft and encouraged everyone, including myself to perform well while enjoying the process.

This is when AFREEN crossed his path, and due to its strong, world-serious topic, he knew he needed to get involved.

Afreen Experience:

I approached the Director Aashish Chanana, who gave me the role of the Police Commissioner and I’m very thankful for that. I’m honored to be a part of such a great Film and to have worked with such a kind Cast and Crew. Thanks from the VinMan AFREEN is ready to hit the Big Screen enjoy.

Ashwin studied acting at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is an accomplished musician and plays the drums and guitar. Ashwin wishes to thank his wife, Saveena, for loving and supporting him and allowing him to chase his dream. The couple shares their adoration of their young daughter Anaya.”

Experience working on the film:

“It was an honor to be involved in a project that focused on a topic that is so thought-provoking and an unfortunate reality in our world.  With incredible guidance from our Director, we were able to portray this story with the goal of addressing issues that challenge the fabric of our modern society and to prompt action for positive change.  The cast and crew were an absolute pleasure to work with.”

He also studied Acting for Film at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California.

Afreen Experience:

The entire AFREEN production, from the leadership of a multitalented Director to an enthusiastic and devoted cast and crew, has truly been an unforgettable and rewarding experience. Afreen provides a strong sense of the non-fiction imposed in this erratic world that we live in. Playing the role of Detective Ron Williams, it also reminded me just how hard someone will fight for what they believe is right.

Afreen Experience:

When I was approached to audition for the role of Christina I knew it was the perfect fit. Christina is a powerful woman in a man’s world, in which Aashish was a motivating and compassionate director. Working with the AFREEN team was inspirational and a great learning experience and has proven the old adage “where there is a will, there is a way.”

Congratulations, Aashish on making AFREEN happen and the upcoming screening at Cannes. 

A relative artist with a degree in aerospace engineering and an entrepreneurial spirit, Rajat has had a passion for theatre and movies since high school. His first opportunity cane with a Producer/Director AashishChanana who casted him a role as Constable Vance in AFREEN in 2017. His second gig was Bloody Romeo where he played father to a 8 year old in a more serious drama about mysterious events hatthat are the talk of the town.

Rajat is a passionate actor who strives for excellence with hard work and dedication to his director and production team.
